Horseback Riding Lessons at Brighton Rec Riding Stable are provided in a safe and fun atmosphere. Horses are a great way to build confidence; strengthen balance; and learn to relax. Our lessons are offered for ages 5 thru adult (it's never too late to start riding!). Lessons are provided to students with assitance from an instructor. Helmets are provided, but may be purchased at a discounted rate for purchasing a lesson package.
Our lesson program includes everyone of all ages starting at 5 years old up to adult. We have a levels program to fit you into your level group vs. your age group. Private lessons are available in 1/2 hour and 1 hour lengths. Most group sessions are 1 hour in length in a group atmosphere but you are individually tested to move up levels. A complete program levels handbook will be provided to you for studying and following along on the lesson plans. You will know ahead of time what you will be doing in the lesson and tested on. This is a ton of fun!!!! Everyone starts with a 1/2 hour lesson to be properly placed in their group level. Beginners are welcome!
Lesson schedules may change, so please check the website or contact the stables for up to date schedules and always call for weather cancellations. *All lessons must be pre-scheduled and no refunds for cancellations less than 2 hours notice.
For current students, please ask your instructor which level you should join. For new students, please schedule a private 1/2 hour lesson for instructor to determine your level.
